VIVES has been awarded the UPEC seal for the collections CIVIC, RUHR, VENDOME, OREGON, ANCILES, BOSFORO, MONTECARLO, LERSUNDI by the Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment. This certificate guarantees that the product fulfil the market needs and the security and quality requirements according to this certification.

The different figures referred to in UPEC show the values of resistance.

P: Crushing due to furniture or other fixed or mobile objects
E: The tiles’ behaviour when affected by water
C: Resistance to the most common chemical agents

Take a look at he new Vives 2013-2014 General Catalogue with its considered selection of products (porcelain, wall and floor tiles) designed to satisfy the most demanding of tile enthusiasts.

Incorporating its latest product ranges Búnker, Naïf, Artnouveau and Lovestone, Vives has managed to once again consolidate itself within its domestic market as well as its export markets throughout the world. Forever maintaining its high standards in quality and design which allow the company to receive prestigious certificates such as UPEC amongst others, Vives' sole objective is to meet the ever increasing demands and expectatations of its consumers.

Vives has also updated its applications for mobile devices with the addition of the VIVESapp designed for Android which is now available to download for free from Google Play.

Between February 5th and 8th the International exhibition named Cevisama took place which considerably boosted the tile industry activity and consequently the economy of the region of Valencia.

The event was opened by the president of the Generalitat, Mr. Alberto Fabra. After his opening speech, he visited the Vives stand, where he showed his inclination for innovation in design and quality of its products.

To further complement the TITAN collection made with porcelain biscuit, VIVES launches the new size of 60x120.

Moreover, new designs have also been added to the 60x60 sizes .

The Titan collection continues to lead the way since its birth and with these additions, the collection lives up to its name more than ever. With this new size, its decorative elements are further enhanced.

Nouveau, Modernism, Art & Crafts are trends that date back to the beginning of the 19th century and were our source of inspiration when creating this new collection. A mixture of coetaneous styles that are filled with originality from the arts of that era.
Being inspired by these, VIVES widens two of its most emblematic collections: 1900 and Parador.

The 1900 collection adds three new decorative concepts in 20x20cm: Tassel, Macaya and Comillas.Their design is based on the concept of nature with patterns influenced by this using curves, organic shapes and symmetry.

Ribadeo is a new porcelain tile in 30x30cm that belongs to the Parador collection. It is an anti-slip product (type II) that takes on the appearance of concrete and is produced in neutral colours: white, grey and graphite. A new décor called Gredos which consists of several varied designs inspired by the Modernism movement but adapted to the latest tendencies in interior design is also launched.

Nouveau is synonymous with the challenges of design offering a wide range of possibilities for any modern setting.

The latest products launched by Vives at Cevisama, which was officially opened yesterday, have already been very warmly received.
These new materials are being exhibited in a stand that can only be described as a 100% VIVES installation configured by four structures that surround a central square being used as a meeting point. The surface of these structures have been covered by a white tile made by VIVES.

The new materials that are being launched in Cevisama 2013 come under the titles of: Art Nouveau, Lovestone, Bunker and Naïf, with each belonging to one of the four stand’s structures. The designs of these four esthetical concepts are simply based on pure innovation with each one being different to the other.

Stone is today one of the most widely used materials in interior design, a material that generates warmth and comfort whilst uniting elements of tradition and modernity. It can create a rustic and country feel whilst due to its evolution, can also create the most vanguard and sophisticated settings.

Stone is traditionally used in a rustic and classical environment but it is also ideal for interiors where innovation, intimacy and a sense of cosiness are needed.
Due to this, VIVES launches a new collection inspired by a selection of natural stones that are adapted to the latest design tendencies.

Lovestone comprises of six types of stone divided into porcelain and white biscuit.
Bluestone, Greystone y Goldstone, are porcelain of different sizes from: 60x120, 60x60, 19x120, 14x120 and 19x60cm.
The variety in the available sizes together with its two finishes Leather (Smooth) and Natural (structured with relief) allows the professional designer as well as the end customer to be inspired by its endless decorative possibilities.

Ambarstone, Lunarstone y Sunstone are white biscuit wall tiles with a vast array of textures that are available in 33,3x100 and complete this collection.
Lovestone is a comprehensive and complete collection which can be configured mixing different surfaces, textures, colours and sizes.
It is a highly versatile product that can be complemented with furniture and materials from other periods of time and from other materials enriching and personalizing any space.

The most prestigious event for the ceramic sector in Spain is almost here with it taking place in Valencia between 5th to the 8th February.

This fair is renowned for its innovation and the development of new products and due to this the number of professionals attending this event from all over the world continues to grow.
