Vives ceramic products participate in Trans-Hitos 2018

Vives Azulejos y Gres once again is present at Trans-Hitos exhibition in Cevisama Fair, this time with the Screen project made by the Valencian architect Elena Oleza and the French architect Louis Sicard.

The Screen project consists of a circular structure where ceramic tiles are the main element. The entire installation is created by using 1116 Blanco Brillo tiles made by VIVES (23x33,5 cm. size) that are only connected to each other by creating triangular structures that emulates a lattice. The geometric shape lets light transgress through it to the interior and plays with the dual colour exhibited by the tiles (on one side you can see the white surface and, on the other, the rear red biscuit clay) producing a highly visual effect. The structure can be easily assembled and moved, allowing all its elements to be reused. The result is innovative architecture that understands and takes ceramics to a new perspective beyond the mere application of covering surfaces.
