Hotel Barceló Benidorm Beach
Benidorm, Spain
Located on the promenade of the Levante beach seafront with a cosmopolitan and energetic style, descended from the glamour of the 60s on the Mediterranean coast.
A complete renovation, designed entirely by the Ilmiodesign studio, to give the hotel a new intimate and elegant character, which once again welcomes clients and visitors.
The new Benidorm Beach is decorated in a spectrum that evokes the colours of the sunrise on the Costa Blanca.
Within, we can find materials and elements typical of Mediterranean architecture, such as lattices, mosaics and a lot of ceramics with traditional roots.
Smaller tiles, designed exclusively for this project with groundbreaking geometric prints, are the protagonists in the decoration providing dynamism and freshness.
VIVES ceramics was chosen to produce the 20x20cm porcelain pieces inside the common spaces such as living rooms, bathrooms and terraces. In addition 30x30cm tiles which were also used in the outdoor terraces with anti-slip properties. As well as in the rooms, the printed porcelain flooring and the white-biscuit wall tiles in the bathrooms glazed in an intense sea colour; both in 20x20cm.
