Remodeling in Ciutat Vella
Barcelona, Spain
In Ciutat Vella, Barcelona is located this house dating from s.XIX, in which Qubba Architects' team has made remodeling work in order to modernize while enhancing the traditional beauty . The reform has managed to give more light to the space as we can see in the photographs of Pau Guerrero ©. This way they have increased the prominence of traditional hydraulic tiles that have been preserved and also combined with new ceramic Vives' 1900 series designs (Calvet Gris, Gibert-2 Gris, Terrades Grafito, Llagostera Gris) inspired by the traditional. A space in which past and present come together seamlessly to make the house useful and with a contemporary appearance without losing the original spirit.
