San Pelaio pharmacy
Zarautz ,Guipúzcoa
San Pelaio pharmacy was born with the sole aim of creating a different and original pharmacy concept. Located in Zarautz (Guipúzcoa), this project introduces an innovative concept of a pharmacy, which turns away from the usual established prototype of this type of establishment.
The Ladakhi Cielo encaustic cement tile from the Maori series by Vives Azulejos y Gres predominates on the floor of the whole premises. In addition, this pattern has been used to cover the surface of the central furniture of the establishment so that the encaustic effect tile subtly influences the decoration of the project.
The furniture, which has been specifically designed for the project, also uses the white and blue colours of the tile. These tones combine in perfect harmony with the nordic wood that decorates with a peculiar structure the ceiling of the establishment, obtaining an attractive result. Natural light also has an important role in this pleasant space that conveys harmony and warmth.
The complete renovation and the design has been made by the Sube Interiorismo design studio who have been able to take advantage of this small space and give it a very attractive personality.
