The Dgust restaurant

Barcelona

Its gastronomic offer is based on traditional Spanish cuisine, specializing in tasty tapas and various "Gourmet" sandwiches.

It is located in the Poble Nou neighborhood of Barcelona on the ground floor of a recently built building. Previously it was a warehouse for a graphs workshop, in an area known for distilleries and textile companies. This inspired the 4 Cadires studio to carry out the curious cosmopolitan duality design.

The hybrid decoration, where the modern urban-industrial style coexists with a timeless-classic elegance, is reinforced by the VIVES ceramic materials specified to clad the floors and walls.

A luminous 25x75 glossy white, the 10x20 Rivoli Negro, a type of ceramic tile used in the subway entrances at the beginning of the 20th century, the striking traditional 8x31.5 Luca Ámbar and Luca Nácar with its reactive glaze and the welcoming Belize-ceramic wood in the size of 19.4x120 in the carbon colour, are some of the VIVES materials used in this project. All of them with a strong and varied personality that surprisingly complement each other, conveying the decorative essence of restaurant. A look with a a warm mix in which to feel comfortable and identified without aesthetic barriers.
