Ceramic Screen

The Screen project made by the Valencian architect Elena Oleza and the French architect Louis Sicard, consists of a circular structure where ceramic tiles are the main element. The entire installation was created by using 1116 Blanco Brillo tiles made by VIVES (23x33,5 cm. size) that are only connected to each other by creating triangular structures that emulates a lattice. This project, was part of Trans-Hitos in Cevisama 2018 and it is innovative architecture that understands and takes ceramics to a new perspective beyond the mere application of covering surfaces.
