Sustainable Building
LEED CERTIFICATION
Leed (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is an international system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council to promote sustainable and efficient construction. LEED is a voluntary certificate and can be applied to any building whether new or existing. LEED certifies buildings and not products.
SPANISH GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL (GBCE)

VIVES is a member of the Spanish Green Building Council. This non-profit seeking organisation shares the same fundamental objectives as the international World Green Building Council (WGBC). These objectives encompass the promotion of sustainable building by introducing international and homogeneous methods and tools to certify the sustainability of buildings, such as VERDE or LEED.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATION (EPD)

A system of eco-labelling, 3rd level according to the ISO14025 y ISO 21930 based on the analysis of the product life cycle. The information supplied by EPD is a vital tool to those who want to certify the sustainability of their construction projects via certifications such as VERDE or BREEAM allowing them to compare and select materials which take the environment into consideration.
