VIVES achieve the UPEC certificate for its new porcelain tile series
VIVES Azulejos y Gres has obtained the French QB UPEC certificate endorsed by the Center Scientifique du Bâtiment (CSTB) for its new Seine porcelain tile series, which will be shown for the first time at Cersaie 2019. This validation, classified within the NF certificate, guarantees the safety and quality of VIVES ceramic products to be installed in different types of projects, both public and private.
To receive this certificate, VIVES materials have undergone rigorous quality controls. Each letter of UPEC refers to a specific feature of the material in French: U - wear resistance; P - puncture resistance or breakage; E - resistance to moisture and water; C - resistance to chemical agents. The higher the index, the greater its resistance in each of the criteria.
By obtaining this high-quality certification for its new series, VIVES strengthens its presence in the French market, and strengthens its position in terms of both quality and design of its ceramic products globally.
