VIVES launches the new porcelain tile with 90% recycled material
The concern for our environment has led us to the search for technical solutions which are sustainable and responsible. From this, VIVES 90Tile was born.
Thanks to hours of research and development, we have managed to incorporate into the manufacturing process of 90Tile, a total of 90% recycled content including water, mineral and raw materials.
The incorporation of the recycled raw material in the manufacturing process of the 90Tile is done in its basic composition, that is within the tile biscuit, which results in a saving of energy, water and virgin raw materials, thus, avoiding these reintroduced materials to otherwise become residue waste. The manufacturing achievement of this ecological solution means that the company lessens and minimalises its impact on the environment.
In addition, 90 Tile can contribute to improving the score in the LEED certification (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) and in the BREAM certification (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology) for sustainable building.
