VIVES participates in the BIM Conference in Castellón
Vives Azulejos y Gres has participated in the BIM Conference organized by the Territorial College of Architects that took place on May 16 in Castellón. The conference was addressed to all professionals related to construction, especially architects, engineers, and builders. The event was principally about the presentation of the BIM model, its characteristics, advantages and technical applications.
During the conference, a technical manager from VIVES Cerámica was in charge of the talk regarding "Modeling BIM in a ceramics company", due to the fact that VIVES was one of the first Spanish ceramic companies to offer all its ceramic products for BIM methodology with the aim that our tiles can be implemented in future architectural projects.
BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a working methodology designed to manage construction projects in a collaborative way. Its advantages include: the centralization of all the information related to the project and its updating in real time; cost and time saving; and also, to facilitate the interaction between the different agents and participants that are involved in the project.
